Responsibilities

This is the third of four finance analyst roles within a multi-site, multi-specialty academic medical center. Responsibilities include ensuring data integrity, preparing financial reports, providing leadership and expert analysis, developing financial models, and supporting compliance. The role involves mentoring staff, participating in decision-making, and leading projects.

This position is fully remote. Candidates may reside anywhere in the US but preferably within driving distance to Mayo Clinic campuses in Arizona, Rochester, or Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience if degree is in Accounting or Finance; nine years for other degrees. Advanced degrees or certifications like CPA, CMA can substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, large accounting systems, and grant management systems.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Additional Details

Exempt status, annual salary between $86,632 and $133,764.80, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. No international assignment.
