Finance Analyst III (Medicaid Revenue, SQL Reporting)

Position Purpose:

Compile and analyze financial information for the company. Lead various financial projects.

• Engages in membership eligibility (834 file) research, requiring critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and resolve capitation payment (820 file) discrepancies, to maximize the collection of accurate revenue.
• Able to summarize revenue implications of payment discrepancies, along with contributing to the documentation of reconciliation workflows and educational tools used to facilitate cross training and internal controls.
• Assist in reviewing and investigating claims to identify opportunities to reduce cost and utilization.

• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
• Handle complex and high-level financial analysis.
• Present and discuss analysis with upper management.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
