Job summary

Leidos invites top Finance and Business majors to join the F&BO internship program, offering hands-on experience across Program Financial Control, Financial Planning and Analysis, and other areas. Interns will work with AI tools to analyze data, prepare reports, and present insights to leadership, with formal training and mentorship throughout the program.

Position supports work across the DC Metro area (Reston, Gaithersburg, Columbia) and includes two days of training at Corporate HQ, along

Qualifications

Rising senior, enrolled in a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, BIT, or related field from an accredited college/university.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2; fundamentals in Finance and/or Accounting.
U.S. citizenship and potential to obtain government security clearance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience using data-driven insights and AI tools to improve decision-making and financial performance.
Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI).

Responsibilities

Leverage AI/ML, RPA, and generative AI to analyze financial trends, customer behavior, and business data.
Translate findings into actionable business recommendations using finance acumen and AI tools.
Develop and implement AI methods into operable business solutions.
Prepare and present financial analysis to leadership using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
