Job summary

Progressive Cleaning seeks a Finance & Administration Lead to own financial management, HR, and IT & Systems for a distributed field operation. You will handle timecards, payroll, onboarding, and maintain site and vendor records while ensuring consistent processes and clear accountability.

This role blends leadership with hands-on administration, payroll coordination, budgeting input, and system optimization.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in an operations, administrative, or business support role with ownership of outcomes
• Hands-on experience managing timecards and schedules for distributed or field-based workforce
• Bookkeeping and financial reporting experience — accounts payable/receivable, monthly close; QuickBooks Online preferred
• Experience with financial controls and approval workflows
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
• Experience administering business software platforms — user provisioning, permissions, vendor coordination; evaluating new tools
• Clear written communication and ability to document processes
• Strong attention to detail; small errors impact payroll and clients

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes across finance, HR, and IT & Systems; support field operations
• Lead weekly check-ins and set quarterly priorities for your area
• Oversee timecards, payroll reports, and onboarding processes
• Manage site schedules, staffing, and field communications
• Coordinate supply requests, orders, and vendor relations
• Administer QuickBooks Online bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Oversee office systems, IT tools, and data security
• Use AI tools to support drafting, research, and admin tasks
• Support budgeting processes and monthly/annual financial reviews
• Coordinate with outside CPA on filings and deadlines
