Job summary

Thunderbird is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance to lead its finance functions as the most senior finance professional. This role reports to the COO and manages the Senior Staff Accountant and Senior FP&A Analyst, with strong overlap across North American time zones.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in accounting/FP&A, U.S. GAAP expertise, and a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for growing tech-enabled organizations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of accounting, FP&A, and finance operations experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP expertise including close processes and internal controls.
• Proven leadership with 5+ years of people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Thunderbird's finance function including accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and operations.
• Manage and develop the finance team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Oversee monthly/annual close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
