Job summary

Thunderbird Technologies Corporation seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance to lead the finance function for Thunderbird. Reporting to the COO, you will oversee accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and operations while shaping reporting and controls across multi‑jurisdiction revenue models.

You will build and mentor a team, enable data‑driven decision making, and partner with Legal and Enterprise teams to implement robust reporting and compliance across global units.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience across accounting, FP&A, and finance operations.
• US GAAP financial reporting, close processes, internal controls, and complex judgments.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and finance operations.
• Manage and develop the finance team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Oversee monthly and annual close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and policies.
• Oversee revenue recognition for donations, subscriptions, enterprise arrangements, and partnerships.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and longer-range planning.
