Job summary

Lumen Technologies offers a Finance & Accounting Rotational Program (FAR)—a two-year track designed to develop future finance leaders. Analysts rotate across FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, internal audit, and more, building financial acumen and tech skills with AI-enabled tools.

You will work on improving processes, building models, and delivering data-driven insights for senior leaders, within a fast-moving, AI-focused environment at Lumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or in progress in a relevant field.
• Finance, accounting, business, economics, data analytics, CS, or IS degree.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and willingness to embrace change.
• Interest in shaping the future of Finance through business transformation, data-driven decision making, and emerging technology.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, and other finance areas.
• Identify and support opportunities to simplify or redesign Finance processes.
• Build financial models, reports, and analyses using Excel and data visualization.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and insights.
• Develop presentations translating complex concepts into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges and support strategic initiatives.
• Utilize automation and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and workflows.
• Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and adaptability in a high-performing team.
