Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Product Owner – ISC Finance & Accounting to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital financial systems that support general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, compliance workflows, and reconciliation processes.

You will partner with Finance, FP&A, Audit, and Compliance to translate complex accounting needs into scalable features, own the backlog, and drive improvements that strengthen financial integrity and accelerate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in product ownership, financial systems, or accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with Core Business Systems (e.g. Oracle, WorkSight, enterprise reporting systems).
• Preferred CPA, CMA, or similar accounting certification.
• Background in Agile and Lean methodologies and cross-functional product delivery.
• Familiarity with data analytics, financial modeling, or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain product vision and roadmap for finance and accounting systems.
• Translate accounting requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Audit, and Compliance teams.
• Own and prioritize the backlog and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Support audit readiness with strong controls and documentation.
• Measure product performance and report impact to stakeholders.
