Job summary

Novacore Insurance Services, LLC in Conshohocken, PA, is seeking a high-performing Finance and Accounting Intern to kickstart your career. This paid summer internship offers hands-on experience with close-checklists, balance sheet reconciliations, and data-driven tasks in a collaborative team environment.

You will work on real projects, learn our systems (Concept1, Workday), and gain exposure to leadership while you develop analytical, Excel, and communication skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current college student, Sophomore or Junior year preferred.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proactive, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the close checklist and follow up on open items.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting schedules and document variances.
• Help maintain records in accounting systems (Concept1, Workday).
• Participate in team meetings and summarize action items.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as needed and take on additional duties.

Finance & Accounting Intern

We are currently seeking high-performing, eager college student interested in starting their career in Finance & Accounting to participate in Novacore's 2027 Summer Internship Program! All internship opportunities are paid and offer mentorship, peer interaction, project work, executive visibility, volunteer opportunities, and networking events. Our internship program will run from May 17th through August 5th. This is a hybrid internship with 3 days required onsite at the Conshohocken, PA Home Office and 2 days’ work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the close checklist, following up on open items.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting schedules, investigating and documenting account variances.
• Help maintain accurate records in our accounting systems (e.g., Concept1, Workday).
• Participate in team meetings, documenting and summarizing the action items.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks, as needed.
• Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current college student, Sophomore and Junior year preferred
• Student currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and comfort with data analysis tools, or a willingness to learn.
