Novacore Insurance Services, LLC is seeking an Underwriting Intern for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. Open to high-performing college students majoring in Insurance Risk/Business Risk/Business, this hybrid internship combines on-site Ft. Lauderdale, FL work with two days remote, running May 17 through August 5.

Interns receive mentorship, project work, and exposure to senior leadership. Responsibilities include assisting team members, communicating with agents via phone and email, reviewing

• Fully assist team members as needed.

• Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and make requests for information.
• Assist with policy issuance, binding, and billing.
• Review documentation & prepare files under Underwriting guidance.
• Follow up on open items and request additional information to finalize tasks.
• Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Underwriting Intern

We are currently seeking high-performing, eager college student interested in starting their career in Underwriting, majoring in Insurance Risk/Business Risk/Business to participate in Novacore's 2027 Summer Internship Program, supporting our GIG program Specialty Insurance Programs | Novacore All internship opportunities are paid and offer mentorship, peer interaction, project work, executive visibility, volunteer opportunities, and networking events. Our internship program will run from May 17th through August 5th. This is a hybrid internship with 3 days required onsite at the Ft. Lauderdale, FL, office and 2 days’ work from home.
