Job summary

Novacore is seeking a Finance & Accounting intern to join a hybrid program in Conshohocken, PA. The role offers paid opportunities, hands-on mentorship, and exposure to real-world accounting tasks in a fast-paced setting.

As an intern, you’ll work with Concept1 and Workday, support balance sheet reconciliations, and participate in team meetings. This program runs May through August with onsite and remote work days.

Qualifications

• Current college student, Sophomore or Junior year preferred.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis tools; training provided.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the close checklist and follow up on open items.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting schedules and document variances.
• Help maintain accurate records in accounting systems (Concept1, Workday).
• Participate in team meetings, document and summarize action items.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as needed.
• Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Finance & Accounting InternWe are currently seeking high-performing, eager college student interested in starting their career in Finance & Accounting to participate in Novacore's 2027 Summer Internship Program!

All internship opportunities are paid and offer mentorship, peer interaction, project work, executive visibility, volunteer opportunities, and networking events.

Our internship program will run from May 17th through August 5th.

This is a hybrid internship with 3 days required onsite at the Conshohocken, PA Home Office and 2 days’ work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the close checklist, following up on open items.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting schedules, investigating and documenting account variances.
• Help maintain accurate records in our accounting systems (e.g., Concept1, Workday).
• Participate in team meetings, documenting and summarizing the action items.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks, as needed.
• Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current college student, Sophomore and Junior year preferred
• Student currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and comfort with data analysis tools, or a willingness to learn. Training provided
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
