Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Production Inspector to perform final inspection of switches and orders, train the team in effective methods, and prepare detailed reports on findings. The role includes authorizing stopping non-conforming processes and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Ideal candidates has 1–3 years in manufacturing, the ability to read drawings, and basic MS Word/Excel skills. ERP experience and measurement tool proficiency are desirable for accurate inspections.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection on switches and parts prior to shipment.
• Enter NCRs and prepare reports for findings.
• Contribute to creation/implementation of process control charts with team.
• Train production personnel in effective inspection methods.
• Shut down non-conforming processes after notifying supervisor.
