Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Production Inspector for a 5:00am–1:30pm shift to ensure parts meet ISO standards and production controls. You will inspect components, train operators, and document findings in NCRs and reports.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, using measuring tools, and maintaining quality via process controls within a team environment. Health benefits and a manufacturing facility setting are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of experience.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, BOMs, wiring/ladder diagrams desired.
• Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel; ERP experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection on switches and part orders being shipped.
• Train production personnel in effective process control methods.
• Prepare reports for all inspection findings.
• Shut down non-conforming processes after notifying supervision.
• Enter NCRs and write CII for recurring issues.
• Create/implement process control charts with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and conserve resources.
• Inspect all work before passing to next operation.
