Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Production Inspector for a 5:00am to 1:30pm shift in Romeoville, IL. You will inspect components and finished products for conformance to ISO standards and production controls, and you will train others in inspection methods.

The role requires reading drawings and BOMs, basic computer skills, and familiarity with measuring devices. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years manufacturing inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and BOMs is desirable.
• Experience with MS Word/Excel; ERP systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection on switches and parts prior to shipping.
• Train production personnel in effective inspection methods.
• Prepare reports for inspection findings and NCRs.
• Assist in creating/implementing process control charts for critical processes.
