Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Production Inspector for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) to inspect components and ensure conformance to production controls and ISO standards. You will perform final inspections on switches and part orders, train teammates, and prepare detailed reports of findings.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, BOMs, wiring/ladder diagrams (desirable).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection on switches and part orders shipped.
• Train production personnel in effective process control methods.
• Prepare reports for all findings and document actions.
• Shut down non-conforming processes with supervisor notification.
• Prepare and enter Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Write Customer Improvement Initiatives (CII) for recurring issues.
• Report ISO violations to Cell Leader/Manager.
• Create/implement process control charts for critical processes.
