Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure product quality and safety throughout production. The role focuses on inspecting electrical components, testing connections, and documenting findings to support continuous improvement.

You will work with production and engineering teams, read blueprints, and participate in customer testing procedures to uphold rigorous standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring and ability to read electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Attention to detail and strong visual acuity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production floor and units to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Perform point-to-point testing of electrical wiring, ensuring proper connections per instructions.
• Sign in/out gauges and maintain calibration records.
• Assist in customer testing procedures, including sound, run, and water tests.
• Maintain inventory of QA-related materials (zip ties, tags, documentation).
• Collaborate with production and engineering to address customer-related issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to guide inspection processes.
• Perform final inspections and document findings accurately.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.
