Job summary

G&W Electric in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Production Inspector to inspect components and finished products for conformance to production controls and ISO standards. You will perform final inspections, train personnel, and prepare reports on findings.

Responsibilities include entering NCRs, initiating corrective actions, and contributing to control-chart implementation while maintaining a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word and Excel; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection on switches and orders prior to shipment.
• Train production personnel in effective process-control methods.
• Prepare reports for all findings and enter NCRs as needed.
• Shut down non-conforming processes after notifying a supervisor.
• Write CII for repetitive problems and report ISO violations.
• Create/implement control charts for critical processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment per procedures.
