Job summary

WEG Transformers USA in Washington, MO is seeking a Final Painter (2nd Shift) to organize and paint transformers and subcomponents per BOM, while upholding safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include applying primer, paint, and protective finishes, and preparing surfaces and BOM-compliant details.

You will perform routine quality checks, maintain equipment, and assist with related assembly tasks as needed. Evening/night availability and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read BOMs and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations.
• Resides within reasonable commuting distance of Washington, MO.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness.

Responsibilities

• Organize and identify transformers and subcomponents for painting.
• Apply primer, paint, and color per BOM, maintaining equipment.
• Prepare and protect areas not to be painted and finish with correct coat.
• Conduct quality checks on final paint finish and rework as needed.
• Maintain safety, workstation cleanliness, and report issues.
