Job summary

WEG Transformers USA is seeking a Final Painter (2nd Shift) in Washington, MO. You will organize and prep transformers for painting, apply primer, paint, and a final coat according to BOM, and ensure quality finishes.

The role requires reading BOMs/drawings, basic math, US work authorization, and the ability to work evenings/nights with overtime. Safety and paperwork completion are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Able to read BOMs and drawings.
• Able to work evening or night shift with overtime.
• Commuting distance to Washington, MO.
• U.S. work authorization.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Organize and identify transformers and subcomponents for painting per BOM.
• Apply primer, paint, and color as specified, and maintain paint equipment.
• Prepare and protect areas not to be painted and finish coat as instructed.
• Conduct quality checks on final paint finish and rework if needed.
• Maintain safety and clean workstation; report issues.
• Assist with disassembly and assembly tasks as needed and complete paperwork.
