Job summary

Eaton in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Painter to join the Transformers Line on the 3rd shift, starting at $26.20 per hour plus a 2.50 shift premium. Hours are 11pm to 7am, with overtime potentially required.

The role involves sanding, cleaning, masking, and painting transformer units and components, ensuring a high-quality finish before final inspection. The position offers benefits starting day one, weekly pay, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous spray-painting experience.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.
• No relocation is offered for this position. Candidate must currently reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for spraying, including sanding and feather edging of previously painted areas.
• Check Bills of Material for correct color and mil thickness.
• Adjust and monitor pump pressures, heater temperatures, and air/ fluid pressures for optimal spraying.
• Change filters and maintain cleanliness of spray booth and surrounding areas.
• Use crane to move units into the spray booth and to store repainted units in staging for inspection.
• Cross-train and perform duties in other team areas.
