Job summary

WEG Transformers USA in Washington, MO is seeking a Final Painter (1st Shift) to organize and identify transformers and subcomponents for painting, applying primer, paint, and finishing per BOM, and to protect unpainted areas.

You will perform quality checks, maintain safety, and assist with related assembly tasks as needed. This role requires basic English communication, ability to read BOMs, and willingness to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.
• Proficiency in basic English communications.
• Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, MO.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Organize and identify transformers and sub components for painting.
• Apply primer, paint, and finish as specified by BOM.
• Protect areas not to be painted and maintain paint equipment.
• Perform quality checks on final paint finish and rework if needed.
• Maintain safety standards, keep workstation clean, report issues.
• Assist with disassembly, AC assembly, LFH and final assembly as needed.
