Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Painter - 2nd Shift (Transformers) in Waukesha, WI. The role starts at $26.20 per hour with sign-on bonus and benefits. Work hours are 3pm–11pm with potential overtime.

Responsibilities include surface preparation, material checks, and spray application quality. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior spray-painting and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous spray-painting experience.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.
• No relocation is offered; reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding and feather edging.
• Check material color and mil thickness per BOM.
• Monitor pump pressures and heater temperatures for spray quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of spray booth and surrounding area.
• Move units using crane and store repainted units in staging area for inspection.
• Cross-train in other team areas.
