Job summary

WEG Transformers USA in Washington, Missouri seeks a Final Painter for the second shift to prepare and paint transformers and sub-assemblies according to BOM. You will organize components, protect unpainted areas, and apply finishes following precise work instructions.

The role requires reading BOMs, basic math, and safe operation of paint equipment. You will perform quality checks, maintain the workstation, and assist with related assembly tasks as needed; a high school diploma and legal US

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings.
• Able to work evening or night shift with limited overtime, including weekends.
• Resides within reasonable commuting distance of Washington, MO.
• Current work authorization for employment in the United States.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Organize and identify transformers and subcomponents for painting, ensuring prep is complete.
• Apply primer, paint, and color per BOM using paint equipment.
• Prepare and protect areas not to be painted and apply a complete finish coat.
• Conduct quality checks of final paint finish and rework as needed.
• Maintain safety, clean workstation and paint system, report issues to supervisors.
• Assist with disassembly, assembly tasks as needed and complete paperwork.
