Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor Final Mile in Pflugerville, TX. You will oversee dock operations, dispatch drivers, and coordinate with independent contractors to ensure on-time deliveries. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

You will use DispatchTrack or similar tools, maintain records, support the operations manager, and reinforce safety and service standards while identifying process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of final mile, warehouse, or distribution center experience.
• Prior lead, dispatcher, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with independent contractors or third-party carriers preferred.
• Experience with delivery management or routing software (e.g., DispatchTrack) preferred.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running loadout on the client's dock, staging freight, and dispatching trucks on time.
• Support the Assistant Operations Manager with daily stand-ups and route assignments.
• Monitor dispatch operations, track routes, escalate exceptions, and communicate with drivers.
• Provide first-line response to client issues; escalate when needed.
• Oversee contractor end-of-day check-in, paperwork review, and returns process.
• Maintain accurate records in the delivery management platform (DispatchTrack).
• Assist with independent contractor recruiting and onboarding.
• Cover operations in absence of managers to ensure continuity.
• Enforce company and customer policies, safety, and service standards.
• Identify and suggest process improvements.
