Job summary

Saia is seeking a Supervisor, Final Mile to oversee daily final mile delivery operations in Oakland, CA. You will manage scheduling, route planning, and shipment custody from unloading to loadout, ensuring on-time performance and accuracy.

This role partners with drivers and operations systems to optimize daily routes and service quality. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and 5+ years of transportation or dispatch experience.

• 5+ years of transportation or dispatch experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily final mile delivery operations including scheduling and route planning.
• Monitors delivery progress and provides status updates to partners and systems.
• Directs driver training and safety compliance across teams.
• Prepares and processes driver operation documents and invoices for services produced.
• Manages vehicle maintenance, including preventive and DOT/ non-DOT repairs.
