Job summary

Allegro Home Delivery is seeking an Operations Specialist - Final Mile to support big and bulky home delivery and installation operations. You will work closely with the market manager, ensure routes are staffed, and proactively communicate with customers to maintain service levels.

The role requires on-site presence in the assigned market, with duties during peak periods, evenings, and weekends as needed. A strong focus on accuracy, coordination, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in final mile delivery, home delivery, or logistics operations
• Familiarity with routing software and TMS; Onfleet/Route4Me experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist market manager in daily delivery route management and crew coordination
• Provide real-time guidance and dispatch support to drivers and crews
• Monitor routes to identify delays and capacity issues and optimize daily routes
• Handle pre-delivery outreach and provide proactive customer updates
• Audit routes for time-on-site accuracy and overall efficiency
• Maintain POD documentation and resolve documentation gaps
