Job summary

Allegro Home Delivery is seeking an Operations Specialist — Final Mile Delivery to support day-to-day execution of big and bulky home delivery and installation operations. You will work in-market with the market manager to staff routes, support drivers, and ensure accurate performance tracking and reporting.

The role requires hands-on, on-site presence, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in final mile delivery or related logistics role.
• Familiarity with routing software and TMS platforms such as Onfleet or Route4Me.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and data accuracy.
• Ability to communicate clearly with field drivers, crews, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist market manager with daily management of delivery routes and driver assignments.
• Provide real-time guidance, troubleshooting, and dispatch support to drivers.
• Monitor routes, identify delays, and resolve capacity issues.
• Build and optimize daily routes using routing software for efficiency.
• Communicate route details and changes to drivers and crews promptly.
• Support on-site operations during high-volume periods and manager absences.
• Audit PODs, ensure proper documentation and footage, signatures, and notes.
• Prepare market-level performance summaries for leadership review.
• Act as liaison between field operations and corporate support teams.
