Job summary

Apogee Delivery is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our final-mile operation in the Greater North Charleston area. This is a hands-on leadership role with full P&L ownership, accountability for service levels, safety, and carrier performance.

You will build and mentor a high-energy team, manage budgets, and partner with clients to deliver exceptional delivery experiences while driving profitability and continuous improvement across dispatch, drivers, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of leadership experience in final-mile delivery, logistics, transportation, or similar service environment.
• Experience managing a location, terminal, or field-based team.
• Proven ability to manage financial performance, budgets, costs, and location-level P&L.
• Strong track record in leading employees and contracted service providers.
• Proven success managing client relationships in high-expectation settings.
• Decisive, clear communicator capable of under pressure and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Own the North Charleston location’s operational and financial performance.
• Lead daily carrier, driver, dispatcher, and support-team performance.
• Maintain staffing aligned to daily/seasonal volume and service goals.
• Coach teams to meet safety, compliance, and client expectations.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve issues with urgency.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement with measurable actions.
