Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Final Configuration Technician in Lebanon, TN to perform final assembly configuration and inspection of custom mobility products. You will work on power wheelchairs, install drive devices and accessories, and verify configurations meet specifications.

We require 2+ years in mechanical repair, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. The role is full-time with first shift and potential overtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience directly related to the duties.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and experience with common hand tools.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly configuration and inspection of mobility products.
• Install drive devices and accessories for power wheelchairs.
• Review work orders and chair configurations to ensure specifications.
• Assemble each wheelchair according to production schedule and quality standards.
• Be open to rotating to a different job station daily.
• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
