Job summary

Permobil seeks a Final Configuration Technician in Lebanon, TN for 1st shift. Pay is $20.00 per hour. This full-time role involves final assembly configuration and inspection of custom mobility products, with potential cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement opportunities.

You will review orders, assemble wheelchairs with drive devices and accessories, and handle varied, non‑routine tasks across stations. Lift up to 30 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience directly related to duties and responsibilities.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have mechanical aptitude, experience with common hand tools.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly configuration and inspection of custom mobility products.
• Review work orders and chair configurations to ensure work per specifications.
• Use basic hand tools and battery gun to assemble product.
• Assemble wheelchair according to specifications, production schedule, and quality standards.
• Open to rotating to different job stations daily and multi-tasking.
