Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Fighter Pilot/WSO SME for the Air Combat Command’s CAF DTC at Langley AFB, VA. The role focuses on integrating training for U.S. and allied aircrew using CES, NGTS, and MACE in distributed mission operations.

The candidate must hold an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, and bring fighter aviation experience or advanced degrees with substantial years in the field. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ experience as a fighter aviator or Master’s with 7 years’ experience or PhD with 4 years’ experience.
• Former Fighter Pilot/NFO/CSO/WSO with aircraft such as F-15, F-16, F/A-18, F-22, F-35.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 fighter employment or service equivalent manual.
• Operationally relevant experience within the past 10 years (simulator acceptable).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan missions, create mission materials, brief, execute, and debrief Large Force Exercises and Small Team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences (e.g., RED FLAG) and translate unit training requirements into missions.
• Provide consulting expertise to military/defense clients to develop and evaluate training and doctrine.
