Job summary

Mobile Communications America is seeking a Communication Systems Technician in the Madison, TN area to support our MSS division. The role involves installing, programming, and maintaining complex communication equipment for public safety, utilities, hospitals, and other critical customers.

Candidates should have 2+ years in mobile comms, strong teamwork, and the ability to learn two-way radio theory; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing mobile communications equipment.
• Strong customer-focused with teamwork mindset.
• Good communication with end users and third parties.
• Willingness to learn two-way radio theory and new tech.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, watt meters, and related test gear.
• Driver's license and ability to pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and maintain complex communication equipment.
• Repair and bring systems back online for mission-critical customers.
• Design and upgrade customer systems with latest technologies.
• Collaborate with Service Manager and customers.
• Provide 24/7 technical support and on-call rotation.
• Deploy software/firmware updates as needed.
