Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. seeks a product sales professional to manage a product line, drive revenues, and steer competitive strategy. You will oversee sales planning, engage with customers on site, and coordinate purchasing, service and delivery to maximize profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Marketing/Business and 5 years of product sales experience, with strong communication, negotiation and ERP skills. Travel to customer sites and field-based collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field.
• Five (5) years product sales experience or equivalent.
• Experience in B2B selling and the construction market is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product/line to meet financial goals and monitor performance vs. competitors.
• Plan and manage sales efforts; optimize purchasing schedules.
• Visit customers on job sites to initiate sales and provide technical support.
• Develop short and long-range product line strategy and profitability analysis.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate purchases and delivery; arrange service/warranty.
