Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an energetic outside sales professional with a focus on building products, particularly windows, to serve our single-family builder and contractor client base. You will prospect, develop relationships, and provide expert product knowledge to meet customer needs.

The role includes selling across projects, presenting solutions, and earning commissions on eligible transactions while enjoying comprehensive benefits. We train the right candidate who fits with our team.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales in building products, preferably windows.
• Proven ability to prospect and establish new customer relationships.
• Strong product knowledge and consultation skills.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications.
• Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects.
• Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve or are complex in nature.
• Plan and conduct sales presentations for current and prospective customers.
• Researches, identifies and solicits new customers and generates sales opportunities.
• Continuously updates customers on products and services and explains how these products and services meet current or future customer requirements.
