Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Product Sales Manager to own a defined product line and drive revenue growth. You will guide purchasing, support customers on job sites and deliver compelling product presentations.

The role requires strong market insight and cross-functional collaboration to optimize sales initiatives. Ideal candidates have a marketing/business background and at least five years in product sales within a construction-related industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field
Five years product sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Manages assigned product or product line to ensure maximizing financial goals set by senior management.
Plans and manages sales efforts; oversees or initiates optimum purchasing schedule.
Visits customers on job sites to initiate sales and provide technical and customer support.
Develops short and long-range product line strategy plans including sales and profitability objectives.
Monitors inventory and coordinates purchase and receipt; arranges for service, warranty activity and delivery.
Develops and delivers product presentations and training to sales force and customers.
Works with Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing and other support groups to optimize sales initiatives.
Analyzes consumer trends, channel dynamics and strategies to maximize competitive edge.
Drives value-added sales process and manages complex proposals with vendors and BFS units.
