Job summary

Fronius USA seeks a System Engineer to implement and support the sales strategy by leveraging deep Fronius equipment knowledge in welding. You will demonstrate value to new and existing customers and provide equipment support across regions.

The role involves hands-on configuration of robotic and manual welding systems, customer site deployments, and training development to promote the Fronius brand in the welding industry.

Qualifications

• Possess a passport or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel throughout the USA and possibly overseas.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong interest in technology and welding trades.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Robot programming/integration experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or German is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supports Fronius welding technology and equipment.
• Assists customers and provides guidance on Fronius Perfect Welding products.
• Configures robotic/automation welding systems for sales.
• Prepares and executes deployments at customer location before and during production start-up.
• Assesses client needs to offer products, upgrades, and solutions to welding challenges.
• Provides email/phone support for routine and complex queries.
• Records customer activity in CRM and coordinates parts stocking.
• Drives and supports installations, commissioning, and training at client sites.
