Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector in California to join our growing team. You will be the face of ACV, talking with dealers, inspecting vehicles for damage and mechanical issues, and preparing detailed condition reports and repair estimates.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work outside in the elements for extended periods.
• Proven success working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support the customer experience actively and consistently.
• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and issues.
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and cost estimates.
• Assist sales team with up-selling or cross-selling services and products.
• Interface with dealers to ensure client satisfaction and build relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write reports.
