Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking field locate technicians for daytime, full-time work across our service area. You will locate utilities such as telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer and mark accurate locations for excavators and property owners.

A company vehicle and provided equipment support daily field operations. We offer a robust benefits package and a strong training program with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently and mark locations.
• Complete documentation and photograph each locate in area surveyed.
