Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking a Locator to accurately locate and mark underground utilities across designated sites. You will work in the field with a company vehicle, itineraries, and a focus on safety and quality.

These daytime, full-time roles require the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, pass a drug screen, and commute where needed. Training is provided, with opportunities for overtime and career growth within the CPP framework.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to work in a confined space; lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.
• Able to read locate tickets and maps.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, mark the location, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
