Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is hiring for outdoor field locators. You will locate underground utilities—telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer—across designated areas, marking locations, and documenting each find with photos.

This is a daytime, full-time role with overtime, weekend and on-call requirements as needed. No prior locating experience is required, but experienced locators are welcome; the company offers a robust training program and opportunities for advancement within a

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology; experience not required but comfort with field tech is helpful.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and safely, including telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search designated areas, mark locations clearly, complete necessary documentation, and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with a typical 48-hour turnaround on locates; overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts may be required.
