Job summary

USIC is seeking field locators to identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas. You will work in teams or independently, safely locating telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines with company-provided vehicles and tools.

Highlights include paid training, a company vehicle and fuel card, DailyPay access, comprehensive insurance options, and a strong advancement path. Evening/weekend on-call shifts may apply depending on workload.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and devices used in field locating.
• Able to pass a drug screen due to safety sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities (telecom, electric, gas, water, sewer) and accurately mark locations.
• Prepare documentation and take photographs of each locate; maintain timely ticket updates; work day shifts and overtime as needed.
