Job summary

USIC is seeking individuals for daytime, full-time locator roles in Plano, TX. You will locate underground utilities such as telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer, mark locations, document findings, and photograph each locate.

The work is field-based with a company vehicle and required paperwork completed at the site. We offer extensive paid training, a company vehicle and fuel card, daily pay, comprehensive insurance options, a 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays, on-call

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently in designated areas, marking locations and photographing each locate.
• Complete required documentation for each locate and ensure clear communication with the excavation team.
