Job summary

USIC seeks a Locator to locate underground utilities such as telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems in designated areas. You will work daytime, full-time, with a company vehicle and paid training, documenting and photographing each locate.

Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts, and pass a drug screen. Valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

• Proficiency with technology.

• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and safely in designated areas.
• Document and photograph each locate, and mark locations.
