Job summary

USIC is seeking entry-level locators to locate and mark underground utilities in designated areas using company-provided vehicles and equipment. You will work in the field daily, with a 48-hour turnaround on many locates and overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, on-call.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Clear communication with colleagues, customers, contractors.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Photograph each locate and complete documentation.
