Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Arboriculture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Associate Degree plus minimum two years of utility vegetation management experience.
• High school diploma with six years of forester or related utility industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the company forester with vegetation management in an assigned territory.
• Patrol and inspect electric utility right of way to determine management activities.
• Assist in investigating property owner and customer concerns.
• Monitor vegetation management activities for contract compliance.
• Assist with storm restoration or other emergencies as directed.
• Communicate work to be performed to vegetation contractors.
• Assist with random inspections of crews for safety and compliance.
• Inspect completed vegetation work for guidelines and quality.
