Job summary

Atlas Field Services is seeking a Contract Forester to join our team as a full-time employee. This role covers duties across Georgia, focusing on vegetation management for utility clients and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Ideal candidates will have a forestry degree, Arborist credential, and experience in utility line clearance or field planning, with the ability to inspect rights-of-way and coordinate with landowners and contractors in the field.

Qualifications

• Experience in vegetation management and utility space.
• Basic tree identification skills and regional species knowledge.
• Understanding of GPS/GIS-based systems and utility networks.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to learn and use client systems and CM/OM processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rights-of-way to assess vegetation conditions and plan maintenance.
• Interact with landowners to explain vegetation work.
• Assist in bid package maps and work manifests development.
• Research easements, widths, rights, and restrictions.
• Coordinate with contractors and inspect completed work for compliance.
