Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Associate degree plus 2 years utility vegetation management experience.
• High school diploma with 6 years of utility forester experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the company forester with vegetation management in an assigned territory.
• Patrol and inspect electric utility rights of way to determine appropriate management activities.
• Assist in investigating property owner or customer concerns.
• Monitor vegetation management activities for contract compliance.
• Assist with storm restoration or other emergencies as directed.
• Communicate work to be performed to vegetation contractors.
• Observe safety practices and document work procedures.
• Inspect completed vegetation management work for compliance and quality.
