Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking Forester-level professionals for field vegetation management along utility corridors in Florida. Perform tree identification, inspections, and evaluations, and report findings with practical recommendations to clients.

Roles involve coordinating access with line-clearance crews and acting as a liaison between clients, crews and customers. A degree in forestry or related field is preferred; ISA license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or related field.
• High school diploma with 2 years in Utility Vegetation Management or related field; GED allowed.
• ISA Arborist license preferred.
• Strong tree ID skills.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews and customers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field

High school diploma or GED with 2 years of UVM experience
