Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to join our outdoor-focused team in Florida. The role supports line clearance projects, conducts tree and brush inspections, and communicates findings to clients and crews along utility corridors.

This position emphasizes independent work and effective liaison among clients, crews, and customers. Candidates should have a forestry-related degree or equivalent experience, strong tree ID skills, and proficiency with GIS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or related field or high school diploma with 2+ years UVM experience.
• Strong tree identification skills required.
• ISA Arborist license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues; liaise between clients, crews and customers.
