Job summary

The Critical Power Group at M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled UPS technician to maintain and service critical power systems at government, institutional and commercial facilities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, battery replacement, and on-site support, with daily travel and 24/7 on-call availability. You will work with factory-trained equipment and contribute to engineering support.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service for electrical or electronic systems.
• Familiarity with UPS, batteries, transfer switches and related power equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot UPS systems and batteries.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-site testing.
• Provide technical support and engineering input to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with on-site subcontractors and manage field reports.
